Asus is now large enough to obtain success with the launch Zenfone using Intel processors. And in the coming years, the Taiwanese company that was promised would come back to do the same with the launch of Intel-based Android smartphone.
Asus CEO Jerry Shen also revealed that there will be some new Android phones ready to be introduced at CES 2015. But this does not mean that Asus is no longer going to use ARM-based processor for cell phone products. They are still going to offer another product that also uses Qualcomm's ARM processor or other companies such as MediaTek or NVidia.
Shen revealed that Android phones with non-Intel processors is going to be launched in the country of China and some other countries. At the same time, Asus Asus says that all phones will have LTE connectivity and sold at around 300 USD. But of course the advantage that LTE phones can be fully utilized if sold in countries that already have a 4G LTE network.
